You are looking for the best travel camera? ... Well, let start with what I personally chose to be the best for me: the Sony a6000.

Here are some specifications:
 - 24.3 megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor
 - Hybrid AF system with 25 contrast-detect and 179 phase-detect points
 - OLED electronic viewfinder with 1.44M dots
 - Full HD Video
 - 11 fps continuous shooting

I like to travel as light as possible and the main reason I chose this camera is its very small size and its good and relatively big sensor (APS-C). It has an electronic viewfinder, which of course is fundamental since I don't want a point and shoot camera and the lens is also interchangeable, which allows me to use good quality lenses and obtain professional quality photographs.

I use it only with one lens the prime Sigma 30mm f/1.4.

What I don't like about it: the battery life.
